In the summer of 2022, I had finally come to the end of myself. After years of being one foot in and one foot out of my Christianity, I was inspired to truly give my all to the Lord Jesus. I knew that there was power in the cross and that it is by faith that we are saved, but I still doubted whether I was what Jesus calls us to be: "born again" (John 3:3).

In God's providence, one night at a church event, an older woman of God asked if she could pray for me. I was able to openly share my worries and concerns about my walk with the Lord. As we began to pray, the Lord revealed Himself through the presence of the Holy Spirit. The Lord set me free from the shackles of sin in my life. Scripture began to make sense to me for the first time, and I was given a supernatural understanding that Jesus Christ is the crucified Savior and that my life now belongs to Him (Matthew 16:17).

Right after I started following Jesus, the battle against my flesh and the Spirit became real (Galatians 5:17). In obedience, I began surrendering the things of this world that were holding me back. One of those things was my identity in art. Since high school, I had started multiple brands in an attempt to make a name for myself. But none of them prospered because they were rooted in insecurity and driven by the wrong purpose.

Almost three years later, the desire to create was still burning inside me. I started asking the Lord if He had placed that passion there for a reason. The Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25) reminded me that our gifts are meant to bring glory to God, not to ourselves. That's when I picked up the pen again—not to promote myself, but to point everything back to Him.

In November 2024, I launched BURNALLIDOLS to use the talents God gave me—through doodles, stickers, clothing, and videos—to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19).

God later opened a door for me to move from California to Hawai‘i, where I served on staff at a Christian leadership residency. There, I helped train young adults to follow Jesus. The ministry I was a part of was fully missionary-based, meaning I didn't receive a salary. Yet the Lord always provided!

God also blessed me with the greatest gift apart from salvation: my fiancée, Soffy, who currently lives in Spain and whom I met through BURNALLIDOLS. That's over 8,000 miles apart!

Through the support of those who donate to or purchase from BURNALLIDOLS, I'm able to continue pouring into others and walking in the plan the Lord has had for me from the beginning.

Seth's story is a testimony to the transformative power of Jesus Christ and a reminder that no gift is wasted when surrendered to God. BURNALLIDOLS stands not just as a creative outlet, but as a ministry—calling others to lay down the idols of this world and follow the one true King. Through faith, obedience, and creativity, Seth continues to walk in his calling, encouraging others to discover their identity in Christ and use their own gifts to glorify God. May his journey serve as a spark for others to burn away anything that stands between them and Jesus and to boldly step into the life God has prepared for them.
